The body is like that to me, an automobile that our Soul self uses for a time and then lays aside when its usefulness has been fulfilled. We cannot hope to die peacefully if our minds are filled with anger, worry, attachments, guilt and fear so life gives us every opportunity to purify our hearts and minds so that peace becomes our natural state of mind in every moment.
A more modern text on the case for reincarnation, The Return of the Revolutionaries by Walter Semkiw, M.D., is an exciting presentation of many case studies of individuals who were instrumental in the founding of this country around 1776 and who are now incarnated in our current time period as well known politicians, spiritual leaders, teachers and writers.
